Playing and progress
How do I play?
Each puzzle has critters (Zoom Zoos) that walk in a straight line and turn when they hit a wall. Swipe on the board to place arrows they have to follow, press START, and watch. Get the Zoom Zoos into their house and keep the hunters out of it.
The goal for each puzzle is shown when it starts. Stuck? Tap HINT. Want to try again? Tap CLEAR or RESET.
How do stars work?
Every puzzle can earn up to 3 stars. The fewer arrows you use, the more stars you get, so a tidy solution beats a messy one. You can replay any puzzle to improve your stars.
What are Paw Coins?
Paw Coins are the in-game coins. You earn 5 for every NEW star (a star you already had does not pay twice) and more from daily and weekly missions. Spend them in the Shop on new animals, board looks and music.
What are VS tokens?
VS tokens are needed to queue for online matches, which are coming soon. You get 1 token every 20 minutes, up to a maximum of 5. Playing VS against the computer works without the internet.
How do I open the next world?
Clear most of the puzzles in a world to open the next one. Each world has its own board, arrows, critters and music.
Do I need the internet?
No. Puzzles, VS against the computer and the Builder all work offline. Only online features, when they arrive, need a connection.
Your account and your phone
How do I move to a new phone?
On your old phone open Profile, tap Customize Profile, set a password, then tap MAKE + COPY BACKUP. Send that code (it starts with ZZB1-) to your new phone, paste it in the same place and tap RESTORE with your ID and password.
Without a backup code, progress lives only on the phone it was earned on. Uninstalling the game removes it.
Where do I find my Player ID?
Open Profile. Your 8-character Player ID is shown under your name. You will need it if you ask us to delete your data from outside the game.
How do I delete my data?
In the game: Settings, LEGAL AND PRIVACY, DELETE MY DATA. Or write to us. All the steps are on the Delete Your Data page for every step and for what we keep.
Safety and age
How old do I have to be?
Zoom Zoom Zoo is for players aged 13 and older. Younger players can still play the puzzles, the Builder and VS against the computer, but online and social features stay switched off for them.
How do I report a level or block a player?
In the Builder open Play, Browse, pick a level, tap INFO and choose REPORT or BLOCK CREATOR. Our Community Guidelines explain in detail what is and is not allowed.
Purchases
Does the game cost money?
Zoom Zoom Zoo is free to play. Optional purchases, when available, go through Google Play. We never see your card details. The Terms of Service explain Paw Coins and virtual items in full.
